Twin Cities Housing Development Corporation, a nonprofit developer incorporated in 1984, has built or renovated over 1,075 units of housing in the Twin Cities. We work with conventional mortgage lenders, federal, state and municipal housing funders, foundations, and for profit investors to offer housing to meet a variety of needs.  We are experienced in the use of Low Income Housing Tax Credits, having been allocated credits for eighteen developments. From efficiency apartments in center city, Minneapolis, to family townhomes in Roseville, our developments are designed to complement their communities, to provide our residents with excellent, well-managed housing, and to build value for our investors. Our developments have won Committee for Urban Excellence awards and been cited by the Heritage Preservation Commission of the City of Saint Paul. Our expertise ranges from market and land use studies to historic restoration.

We believe that capable, professional property management is critical to the ongoing quality of our housing, and we select our management companies with great care, suitable to each housing type. We monitor each property closely to assure its first-rate physical condition and its strong financial performance so that each continues to be an asset to its community and investors.
