The Resource Centers of the Twin Cities Housing Development Corporation operate totally on contributed dollars, collaborative partnerships, and a small amount of rental income from community room space rentals. 

In that TCHDC is a 501(c)3 organization, contributions are tax deductible per government regulations.

Funds contributed to TCHDC Resource Center programming are used for the several main purposes of the Resource Centers, including program operations and service provision, program coordination, developing and evaluating outcome, reporting and other services and activities.

Funding and support are needed in:

1. Supporting existing math, science, reading and other enrichment activities for children grades K-5 and grades 6-9, helping to retain enrichment providers; also supporting additional arts and other creative learning opportunities for school year programming and summer enrichment programming. (See Liberty Plaza Resource Center and Calibre Ridge Resource Center for specific program details.)
   
2. Supporting costs involved with adult programming including supplies and materials for cooking classes, computer classes, resume writing, etc. and expanding to other adult educational enrichment, including health care related activities and job seeking related activities.
   
3. Supporting program coordination and services costs, which include systematic program planning and on-going coordination of the programs and activities.
   
4. Other programs and events, such as school year end celebrations and summer end celebrations, holiday activities, field trips and similar events and activities.
